Your Values Aren’t Just Nice Words — They’re Meant to Be Lived

Welcome to the first episode of my private podcast—and surprise! I’m sharing this one with everyone. A little gift to kick things off and give you a feel for what you’ll get as a paid subscriber. If you love this and want more, you know where to find me (hint: hit that upgrade button 😉).

Now let’s talk about your values. Not the ones that sound good on paper, but the ones you’re actually living. Or not. No shame. This is just a moment to pause and check in.

And by the way—you do not need a leather-bound journal and a candlelit writing desk for this. Use the back of your grocery list. One of your kid’s abandoned school notebooks. Type it in your Notes app while hiding in the bathroom. I’ve done all of the above. Still counts.

A Tiny Recap

Here’s the gist: If we say we value something (like family, peace, creativity, or rest), but our daily lives don’t reflect that… things start to feel off. Like you’re out of sync with yourself. This episode was about how to notice that gap—not to feel bad about it, but to lovingly course-correct.

Journal Prompts

Pick one, pick a few, or just sit with them while you sip your lukewarm coffee:

  1. What are 3 values you say are important to you right now?

  2. In what ways are you living those values out? (Don’t overthink it.)

  3. Where are you not living in alignment? Be honest. No guilt, just data.

  4. What’s one small thing—seriously, tiny—that you could do this week to embody one of those values?

  5. Is there a value you’ve outgrown or one you want to step into more?

  6. What tends to pull you away from your values? (People, habits, mindless scrolling?)

  7. What would a day built entirely around your values actually look and feel like?

  8. Who or what drains you when you’re trying to live in alignment—and how can you protect your peace?

  9. What value feels like it’s been knocking on your door lately, asking for more attention?

  10. What’s one thing you can stop doing this week to make more room for what really matters?

If this resonated and you want more episodes + cozy reflections like this, consider becoming a paid subscriber. I’ll be sharing these regularly with my inner circle—no fluff, just real talk and warm support.
