On the other hand, a growth mindset, which embraces learning and development, can help you thrive in all areas of life.
Here’s how you can start cultivating a growth mindset, even if you’ve lived with a fixed one your whole life:
1. Understand the Difference
First, it’s essential to understand the key differences between a fixed and a growth mindset:
Fixed Mindset: Believes abilities are innate and unchangeable. Avoids challenges and fears failure.
Growth Mindset: Believes abilities can be developed through effort and learning. Embraces challenges and sees failure as an opportunity to grow.
