We finally planted our spring vegetable garden! 🌱
And by “we,” I mean I gently wrangled my kids away from their screens, convinced them that digging in the dirt was actually fun, and managed to get a few seedlings into the ground without losing my mind.
This week’s video is a spring garden reset—nothing fancy, just our real, messy, cozy life in motion. We prepped the garden beds, made a trip to the garden center (because of course we did), and planted tomatoes, lettuce, and more which I swear I’ll keep alive this time. The kids helped quite a bit and we enjoyed our hands-on homeschool day as a family.
I’m trying to embrace the beauty in these everyday moments, even if things take longer to do with my kids involved. Gardening with children isn’t picture-perfect, but it is full of little laughs, dirty hands, and sweet reminders that life doesn’t have to be polished to be good.
Make yourself a cuppa (or pour a glass of wine—no judgment), and come hang out with us in the garden.
If you enjoy this kind of real-life, slow-but-not-always-serene content, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and stick around here on Cozy Notes. I share weekly videos and reflections that make space for joy, imperfection, and a little peace in the middle of the noise.
Thanks for being here. 🌿
